Getting Started

NorexVPN gives you your own private WireGuard VPN server — not shared with anyone else. When you sign up, we provision a dedicated server just for you with a unique IP address that nobody else uses.

This is different from providers like NordVPN or ExpressVPN where thousands of people share the same server and IP. Your server, your IP, your traffic only.

  1. Sign up and verify your email address.
  2. Start your free trial — your dedicated server will be provisioned automatically (takes about 2–3 minutes).
  3. Go to your dashboard and add a device.
  4. Download the WireGuard config file for that device.
  5. Import the config into the WireGuard app on your device.
  6. Hit connect — you're live.

WireGuard is free and available on every platform:

On desktop (Windows/macOS): Open WireGuard → click "Import tunnel(s) from file" → select the .conf file you downloaded.

On mobile (iOS/Android): Open WireGuard → tap the + button → scan the QR code shown in your dashboard, or tap "Create from file or archive" to import the .conf file. The QR code is the fastest option on mobile.

Account & Billing

The free trial gives you full access to your dedicated VPN server. A card is required to start — you won't be charged until the trial ends.

Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be billed anything.

Log into your dashboard → go to Profile → Subscriptions → Cancel. Your server stays active until the end of your current billing period. No penalties, no hassle.

If you have any trouble cancelling, email us at support@norexvpn.com and we'll take care of it immediately.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. We do not accept prepaid cards.

Devices & Configuration

You can add multiple devices from your dashboard — each device gets its own WireGuard config. The number of devices depends on your plan. All devices connect to your same dedicated server and IP.

Yes — any router that supports WireGuard can use your NorexVPN config. This lets you protect every device on your home network without installing WireGuard on each one. Popular options include routers running DD-WRT, OpenWrt, or pfSense.

Download the config from your dashboard and import it into your router's WireGuard settings.

Yes. Delete the device from your dashboard, add a new one, and download the fresh config. The old config will stop working once the device is deleted.

Troubleshooting
  1. Check your dashboard — make sure your server shows as active.
  2. Make sure your subscription is active and not expired.
  3. Try deleting the device and creating a new one with a fresh config.
  4. Make sure UDP port 51820 isn't blocked on your network — some corporate or school networks block WireGuard's port.
  5. If you're on mobile, toggle airplane mode off and on, then try again.

This means your device can't reach the server. It's usually one of three things:

  • Your server is still provisioning — wait a couple minutes and try again.
  • The config on your device is outdated — delete the device and add it again.
  • UDP traffic is being blocked on your current network.

Check WireGuard — if it shows a recent handshake and data transfer numbers are going up, you're connected. Visit whatismyip.com to confirm your IP has changed to your NorexVPN server's IP.

If the IP hasn't changed, make sure the tunnel is actually active (the toggle should be on in the WireGuard app).

Some services (like Netflix or certain banking sites) block all datacenter IP ranges regardless of which VPN you use. This isn't specific to NorexVPN — it affects every VPN provider that runs on datacenter infrastructure.

For general browsing, remote work, and privacy use, your IP will work without issues.
